Patient Advisers provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Patient Advisers make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Community Midwives

The midwives provide care and advice during pregnancy and after childbirth. To be referred to your community midwife complete an online referral at https://www.whh.nhs.uk/services/maternity. Upon receival of the referral a midwife will be in touch within 7-10 working days to arrange your first appointment.

Community Nurses

District nurses visit and care for people in their own homes. The district nurses are based at Orford Park and can be contacted on 01925 251307.

Health Visitors

The health visitors offer advice and monitor the health and development of children and their families. Health visitors can be contacted on 01925 251520.
